Healthy pumpkin shake

Full of spices and sweet fall flavor, it literally tastes like the traditional Thanksgiving dessert in a glass. I combine a few favorites from fall’s bounty of flavors to make this pumpkin pie smoothie. In this recipe, we mix pumpkin with bittersweet chocolate for a flavor that is decidedly fall and perfect for seasonal entertaining. Now that fall (a.k.a. pumpkin-flavored everything season) is here, I can’t get enough of sweet pumpkin treats. But in an effort to conquer those shrunken skinny jeans, I came up with this recipe to satisfy my pumpkin craving without breaking the calorie bank… a healthy, delicious Pumpkin Protein Shake!
