With all of the gorgeous beaches and adventurous activities, it’s not much of a surprise that Krabi is flocked to by many. Despite its popularity, it still remains a beautiful place and a must visit. This is not the spot to skip! It’s a country famed for world-class beaches, lush jungles and parties that last until sunrise.

I honestly had no fixed itinerary during my trip. After all, isn’t that what backpacking is all about? You can travel alone there safely and without much hassle. Meeting other travelers is very easy, the country is relatively safe, inexpensive, and central in Southeast Asia.
I used the Lonely Planet guidebook and I truly recommend it! Other islands include Koh Chang, Koh Samet, and Koh Kut, all of which have palm fringed white sandy beaches.
