Korea university exchange program

A large number of international students in the past have enjoyed studying at Korea’s most prestigious university and learning about Korea and Korean culture. SNU annually accepts about 6international students for exchange programs.

Undergraduate students from non-exchange universities should first consider consulting with a study abroad coordinator at their home university. Only after securing approval from their home university, should applicants apply to the VSP program. Students must choose only one program to participate in if they apply for other student exchange programs administered by the university , and are selected for multiple programs.

What kinds of programs can I apply for? In this exchange program , you will enroll directly in classes at Yonsei University , one of the top-ranked universities in South Korea. Seoul Exchange Program participants pay regular College tuition and a nonrefundable study abroad administrative fee. The tuition is paid in conformity with the home campus payment schedule, and the nonrefundable study abroad administrative fee is submitted when accepting a place in a program. The university offers a buddy program to assist exchange students in getting settled into the university.


Exchange students may also participate in various clubs such as Korean Dance Club, Photography, Drama, Sports Club and a Choir group. Many of the club field trips include visits to palaces, museums and the Folk Village.
